What kinds of household and domestic support services are funded by the NDIS?

Support for household and domestic tasks is accessible to NDIS participants. This falls under the Core Supports category, specifically within Assistance with Daily Life. The primary goal is to enable NDIS participants to maintain as much independence as possible in their homes by offering the necessary support.

Funding through the NDIS is typically available for participants aiming to enhance their independence. This funding is often granted when participants require assistance with household chores, need physical help with these tasks, or simply require supervision while completing them. The focus here is to assist participants in developing their skills and fostering greater independence.
